Care for a home while you are abroad

Owning a home you cannot visit takes trust and a person on the ground. Tell us about the home and what you need looked after, and we will arrange for someone to contact you.

What we do

• Introduce you to people who manage homes for owners abroad: upkeep, finding tenants, collecting rent.
• Tell you what to ask for in an agreement, and how reports and money should reach you.

What we do not do

• Handle your money or hold keys ourselves.
• Give tax advice; an owner abroad should speak to an adviser about tax on rent.

What to have ready

• The address and a recent photograph of the home
• Whether it is let and the rent
• What you want done: upkeep, finding a tenant, rent collection
• A way to be reached across time zones
