Legal check of a property
Before a large payment, the papers should be read by somebody who knows what to look for. Tell us the property and we will put you in touch with a lawyer who checks title and approvals.
What we do
- Introduce you to a lawyer who reads title and approval papers.
- Explain what such a check normally covers, and what it cannot tell you.
What we do not do
- Give a legal opinion ourselves, or vouch for any property.
- Replace the lawyer's own advice about your situation.
What to have ready
- The address and the seller's name
- Copies of the papers the seller has shown you
- Whether it is a new project or a resale
- Whether a loan is involved
